Nico is a Brooklyn-based producer, engineer, and songwriter. Born in Argentina and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, his musical foundation began with classical piano at a young age before expanding to drums—creating music with close friends in their parents’ basements—and eventually guitar, production, and songwriting.

After earning a degree in geology from Bucknell University, Nico relocated to Brooklyn to pursue music full-time. He worked his way up engineering hip hop across studios throughout New York City, most notably at The Cutting Room Studios, where he has been a core engineer for the past four years.

Today, Nico is the producer and engineer behind The Red Couch Show, an up-and-coming live performance platform dedicated to capturing artists in their most authentic form. He has recorded and mixed over 300 live sessions across genres, helping artists at every stage of their career be seen and heard.

Alongside his engineering work, Nico continues to write and produce music with longtime collaborators from Louisville, while also exploring creative writing and poetry as an extension of his artistic practice.
